Logistics training

The application period runs from 1st July to 31st October for people wishing to start their training the following year. 

How do goods get from A to B? Find out by taking a training course in logistics at Volkswagen Group Services GmbH. Our trainees are provided with excellent support and have the opportunity to learn about the big world of automotive logistics in the Volkswagen Group.


Warehouse Logistics Specialist (m/f/d) | Training

As a warehouse logistics specialist, logistical processes such as goods inwards and outwards, dispatch and scheduling of goods are all part of my duties. I work in warehouses in the spare parts division and materials management, as well as in material flow planning and organisation areas.


Duration of training: 3 years
Training locations: Braunschweig, Hanover, Salzgitter, Wolfsburg

Areas of focus during training

  • Goods inwards and outwards, goods monitoring
  • Goods storage and warehouse setup
  • Dispatch and transport
  • Planning and organisation of the flow of goods
  • Handling technical information and communications tools

Haulage and Logistics Services Agent (m/f/d) | Training

As a haulage and logistics service agent, I mainly work in the commercial sector, which means processing orders, such as the scheduling of shipments, transport materials, selecting transport routes, completing freight paperwork and customs document and organising transport insurance. My remit also includes developing, monitoring and managing logistical services. I also need to be confident in handling modern communications tools and dealing with customers.


Duration of training: 3 years
Training location: Braunschweig, Wolfsburg

Areas of focus during training

  • Business organisation and functional contexts, legal principles
  • Basic knowledge of the procurement and sales market
  • Payment transactions, controlling, cost and service billing
  • Development, monitoring and controlling of logistical services
  • Preparing and following up on, holding and organising customer advice meetings


Requirements profile

  • Interest in the activities associated with the nationwide and international transport of goods by road, air and sea
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Interest in business contexts
  • Good team worker
  • Knowledge of foreign languages would be advantageous
