When it comes to controlling complex projects, we at Project Management Consulting are the key contact within the Volkswagen Group. The focus of our work is always our customers, with whom we work to develop targeted and individual solutions for project challenges. We offer our customers standard and agile project solutions along with advice tailored specifically to their needs.
Using agile methods such as SCRUM, we inspire the project team and make more room for creativity when implementing projects. In agile project management, we take on agile roles in consulting projects within the Volkswagen Group – for example, as Scrum Master, Product Owner, Release Train Engineer (SAFE) or Product Management (SAFE). We are therefore responsible for planning, controlling and monitoring workshops, committees and role-specific activities. In doing so, we focus on areas such as the promotion of self-management and individual responsibility for roles and organisations.
The PMO is the key point of contact for project-specific questions. In particular, we advise on the introduction and operational implementation of project management standards. Our core competences are auxiliary PMO-related services. Specific coordination, planning, on-demand documentation and continuous monitoring give all project participants a clear view of the project status. The PMO supports project-specific project management processes, such as the documentation and control of changes and the adaptation of corresponding plans and project documentation.
Projects create an extra workload for everyone alongside regular day-to-day operations. To address this challenge, we deploy specially qualified employees to work as subproject managers who can supervise change projects and reduce the workload of your core workforce. We structure the project tasks, define project processes and connect with the employees. For these projects, we create transparency and provide decision-making documents. We manage all aspects of the project and keep an eye on the big picture at every phase.
