As an IT specialist for application development (m/f), you plan and develop software and software projects for customers. In addition to new developments, further developments are particularly important, which is why you learn to analyse existing IT systems and plan new ones. You will also train the users.
Volkswagen Group Services offers IT apprenticeships with exciting opportunities in the car factory, at the head office and at subsidiaries such as Volkswagen Group IT Services. During your training, you will get to know a different area of the company every 3-6 months.
Duration of the apprenticeship: Three years
Location: Various operational sites in Emden, Ingolstadt or Wolfsburg, Germany
Vocational school: BBS 2 Emden, Staatliche BBS 1 Ingolstadt or BBS 2 in Wolfsburg

During the second apprenticeship year, each apprentice can apply for a stay abroad within the scope of the apprenticeship and become familiar with one of the international locations of the Volkswagen Group Services GmbH, such as Lisbon- Portugal or Bratislava- Slovakia.

As an IT specialist for system integration (m/f/x), I enable the operation of IT such as servers, network components or individual computers. To this end, I network hardware and software components and install complex systems. This also involves providing assistance to users and decision makers in shopping or using IT, for example.
